While in Poland, I qualified as a Massage Therapist and gained additional certifications in muscle examination, various massage techniques. Besides, I gained pedagogical qualifications as I was responsible for training and supervision of other therapists and students who were working towards their qualifications. Additionally, I enjoyed working with children with learning and physical disabilities, developing individual therapy plans and evaluating their effectiveness.
Since arriving in the UK, I have focused on building a successful career in care work. In my role as a Care Assistant, I worked with elderly residents with diverse needs, including physical disabilities, mobility issues, dementia, and end-of-life care. This experience has solidified my understanding of the importance of person-centred care, dignity, and resident well-being. I am a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a strong work ethic.
After graduating from Cornwall College in 2021, and completing my GCSEs, I knew I wanted to pursue a healthcare career that allowed me to help people holistically. That’s why I decided to study osteopathy. I’m currently a thriving 3rd year student at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone. I am eager to graduate next year and return to Cornwall to begin my career as a qualified osteopath.
The human body is an incredible machine, but sometimes things get out of whack. That’s where osteopathy comes in. What drew me to osteopathy is its focus on the body’s interconnectedness. It doesn’t just treat symptoms, it looks at the whole picture – the structure, the function, and how they impact each other. This holistic approach resonates with me because I believe true health comes from addressing the root cause of issues, not just masking them.
As a qualified osteopath, I’ll be able to use a variety of gentle, hands-on techniques to improve your body’s mechanics and mobility. My goal is to help people achieve optimal health and well-being by restoring balance and function to their bodies.
